Mynshull’s House was developed to create a new headquarters for Nikal Developments. The scheme provides office and display space on the ground floor with the aim of reinstating a more public façade to the building. This elevation is treated as a shopfront to give life to the street and the floors above have been converted back to offices.
The contemporary, stainless steel framed, glass shopfront contrasts with the decorative sandstone structure whilst fully exposing the internal space on the ground floor. The interior includes a glazed lift enclosure which provides views towards the cathedral.
